New findings — based on ancient inscriptions, a re-examination of Islamic traditions, and historical sources — point to a 6th-century figure named “MHMD” in Ethiopia and Arabia. This individual would have been the bishop Gerentrios, nicknamed the “Praised One” (i.e., MHMD), and later remembered in Islamic tradition as Muḥammad ibn Khuzāʿī. The Christian Himyarite king Abraha appointed him as bishop. When Abraha took control of Arabia in the 6th century, the bishop accompanied him and participated in the Christianisation of the Arab populations.
Independent researcher Kalam El has been working on this topic for over ten years. A panel was assembled — Kalam El, Lloyd, JC, Usama, Mel, and Odon Lafontaine — to discuss his presentations in a series of videos (hosted on Lloyd’s channel and restreamed on Odon’s). These discussions complement Odon’s work as presented in The Great Secret of Islam.
